If you have followed the WORCS series over the past five years, then without doubt you know the name Jamie Lanza. In 2004 Zip Ty Racing Yamaha brought Lanza under the tent to contest WORCS in the 85cc and Supermini classes and he did not disappoint. Jamie clinched both the 85 expert and Supermini titles that same year and has not looked back. He has kept his head down and his eye on the goal of becoming WORCS Pro championship contender and as he prepares for his second year as a WORCS Pro, we can only expect to see him continue to work his way towards podium finishes en route to a career that he hopes will one day include the #1 plate.
As the 2008 WORCS season came to a close Lanza had earned an 11th overall for the year, with three top ten finishes under his belt. Jamie also excelled at Endurocross in ’08 making the main at every round except the final round in Vegas and finishing the series in 8th. Going into the ’09 Endurocross season Lanza is focused once again on the combination of consistency and the ability to ride a dirt bike better than most. |
