“Just coming off an injury with over a month off of training, I had a prior racing commitment. Because of the lack of fitness, I really needed an edge.
As a result of using Acid Zapper a few days before and the day of the competition allowed my body to race fast and win the race…I am very excited to incorporate Acid Zapper into my training… [T]hank-you for all you do!”
Heather Haviland is best known for her unbridled enthusiasm for the sport of triathlons. Her enthusiasm comes not only from her success as a triathlete, but also more importantly from the appreciation of what triathlons have done to improve her quality of life.
Heather comes from a non-athletic background. Her first competition was 10 years ago at the ever-popular Danskin Triathlon. Knowing very little about the sport, she completed the swim in Lake Michigan without a wetsuit, the cycling portion on a mountain bike and ended the run with whatever running shoes were in the closet.
At first Heather did triathlons just to get in shape. Now, it is to be the best athlete she can be. Heather is a 6-time All American, a 3-time USA Team Member, a 5-Time Ironman Finisher with her best ever IM finish of 3rd place overall at the 2005 IM Wisconsin.
